KUL03CAM – 3D2N Cameron Highlands Tour

This is an extension programme from the 2D1N version. This programme gives you more time to explore and take in the beauty of Cameron Highlands.
Day 1 Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands (4 hrs)
Pick up at City Hotels at 0800 hrs.Travel to Cameron Highlands with a rest stop at Tapah. This is the town leading to Cameron Highlands and you will get to see a lot of stalls offering Malay type food plus local fruit stalls.On the way up to the highlands, we will stop at a small Aborigine village and a teahouse. Continue to drive up the road passing through Brinchang and finally the main town – Tanah Rata. Settle in your hotel of your choice.
Day 2 In Cameron Highlands
Start the tour with a visit to tea plantation owned by the Boh Plantations. Watch the processing of black tea and later to sample various kind of tea in the teahouse. After the tea break we will visit the local fruit / vegetable market where fresh produce are sold directly to the locals by the farmers themselves and see the vegetable terraces nearby. Afternoon free at leisure. There are a few nature trails around Cameron Highlands for you to explore on your own. Wild orchids can be seen along some of the trails.

Day 3 Cameron Highland – Kuala Lumpur (4 hrs)
Depart for Kuala Lumpur via the same route as Day 1.

Remarks
It is worth while staying 2 nights at Cameron Highlands as you have more time to explore the plateau. The tour is nicely paced which gives you a lot of time to enjoy Cameron Highlands.
