Bangkok, know to the Thais as “Krungthep or the City of Angels” was established in 1782 by King Rama I as a capital of Thailand. Over the past two centuries, it has developed into a great metropolis with a population of over 8 million. Like other modern cities in the world, Bangkok boats lots of massive building, numerous luxurious hotels, shopping centers, and a modern international airport. But Bangkok has also retained its traditional charm.

DAY 1      ARRIVE BANGKOK

Upon arrival in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport, you will be welcome by our guide and driver and then transfer you to hotel for check in.

DAY 2      BANGKOK

Today’s sightseeing takes us by foot & public transportation (i.e. Tuk Tuk, ferry). Morning tour to visit the Grand Palace, once a Royal Residence and home to the Emerald Buddha Temple and Wat Pho, Wat Pho is most famous for the golden reclining Buddha that measues 46 metres and has feet inlaid with mother-of pearl. In more modern times, Wat Pho has gained international recognition as a meditation centre and for the traditional Thai massage that is both practiced and taught here.

Afternoon take a ferry cross Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun, often called The Temple of Dawn, is one of the most remarkable visual identities of Bangkok. The imposing Khmer-style prang or tower is 67 metres tall and decorated with bits of porcelain that was used as ballast by boats coming from China.Afterward visit Pak Klong Talat, the biggest wholesale and retail fresh flower market in Bangkok. Transfer back to the hotel at late afternoon.

DAY 3      BANGKOK

Depart Bangkok for Ayutthaya, a former capital of Thailand in 1350 to 1767.Visit Bang Pa In the summer palace. Then continue to “Ayutthaya Historical Park” visiting ancient temples dating back in the 14th century at Wat Phra Mahatat, Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Vihan Phramongkhon Bophit. Afterward transfer to Wat Chong lom pier (Nonthaburi) and board Grand Pearl Cruise back to Bangkok. Relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings.Arrive Bangkok and transfer to hotel at late afternoon. International buffet lunch on board.

DAY 4      DEPART BANGKOK
