TOUR & HOTEL RATES
The rates are in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) inclusive of service & government tax unless otherwise specified.
Please note that RM is a local code for Ringgit Malaysia used in the website and our proposal. The equivalent international code is MYR. The conversion rate to foreign currency is the same for both

EXCHANGE RATE
The exchange rate is approximately USD 1.00 = RM 3.50
Please refer to www.x-rate.com for currency conversion.
This is a guideline only and strictly subject to change.

RESERVATION/DEPOSIT/PAYMENT
Upon confirmation, the following deposit/payment schedule will apply :-

1. 25 % of the total cost of the tour + air ticket (full fare)
2. Balance payment - less than 45 days before arrival

CANCELLATION
The cancellation charges are as follow :-

1. After deposit is paid , RM 100.00 (administrative charge) will be imposed
2. Less than 45 Days before arrival - 50 % of the total cost of the tour
3. Less than 2 weeks before arrival - 75 % of the total cost of the tour
4. Less than 1 week or no show, 100 % of the total cost of the tour
5. Air ticket cancellation is subject to the terms & conditions of the airline

• Full payment will be requested if the hotel is running high occupancy due to a major event
• If the booking is made within 45 days of arrival, full payment is required
• The cancellation refund will be processed through the same mode of payment received minus all bank or credit card charges where applicable.
• No refund or exchanges for services provided for part or whole of tour/transfer/accommodation/meals not utilized.
• The above is payment & cancellation terms serves as a guideline only. We will indicate the applicable terms in the proposal based on your tour programme.

INSURANCE
Insurance is not included in all our tour programs. We strongly recommend that you have a travel insurance before you commence your travel.

Payment can be telegraphic transfer or bank draft to in US Dollars based on the exchange rate in the quotation :-

1. All bank charges through payment made by Bank Draft / Telegraphic transfer will be strictly borne by payer.
2. Peterson Travel Service reserves the right to adjust the US Dollar exchange rate based on the local bank rate if necessary to reflect the correct amount to be paid.

Credit card payment in Ringgit Malaysia :- AMEX/MasterCard/VISA is accepted with a 2.0 % (VISA/MasterCard) & 5.0 % (AMEX) merchant fee respectively.

Important Note: If you are paying by Credit Card, it may pay to contact your Credit Card Company and let them know a Malaysia Merchant (Peterson Travel Service Sdn Bhd) will be deducting X amount from your card. Most Credit Card Company’s will have a security measure in place for your protection that will only allow an overseas transaction to take place with your authorisation.

LIABILITY
PETERSON TRAVEL SERVICE SDN BHD acts only as agents for transportation companies, hotels, restaurants and all other contractors. We cannot be held liable for any injury, damage or loss to person or property, additional expense, accidental delays or any other irregularity which may be caused either through wilful or negligent acts of omission on the part of the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation on land, sea or air, accommodation or other services relating to the execution of the tour or through natural calamities or Government restrictions, strikes or other factors beyond our control.
